    Welcome to the WRSTEF !

    Update as of March 28th, 2010

    A special thank you to all our teachers, parents, judges, volunteers, sponsors, and participants for making the 49th annual Windsor Regional Science, Technology and Engineering Fair a great success! This year, we had over 350 students presenting 272 projects; it has been our biggest fair ever!

    Congratulations to Team WRSTEF who will be representing the region to the Canada Wide Science Fair in Peterborough in May 2010.

    Change in project drop off. Enter Assumption Church Parking lot with to drop off projects at North Entrance of the CAW Student Centre. See map for more details.

    Assistance will be available to help bring projects inside. Proceed to lots A, B, or C (under the bridge).

    If you do not provide the pass (which was emailed to all registered email addresses), you must pay the $3 parking fee. Any cars not respecting this will either be ticketed for parking on private property or towed are your expense. Any rudeness to the parking attendants will result in the loss of the drop off privilege.

    Update as of March 13th, 2010.

    The student registration has been extended until Tuesday March 17th to allow science fair winners that were announced on Friday the 12th, enough time to register. The judging assignments will begin on Wednesday. Any registrations after that day (via an email to wrstef@gmail.com) will result in the late fee. School contacts will receive a confirmation email once registration has been closed.

    Registration cheques can be sent to your board liaison (see Committee for details). This year the entry fee is $12 per participant.

    The student itinerary and map are available for download in the Itinerary and Map section. Please note, at this time, the only parking available is in lots A, B, C. Should you wish to use any other lots, you will be responsible for payment.

    The judging itinerary will be mailed out to all registered judges and is also available for download on the Judging section.

    The offices of the WRSTEF will be closed until Wednesday March 17th in order for our hard working volunteers to get a well deserved break.  Emails will be replied in the order they were received.

    The 2009-2010 WRSTEF committee has been hard at work planning and arranging forthe 2010 fair.

    Last year we had 270 students from Windsor and Essex County create 197 projects for last year's fair. The top four projects from our fair went on to the 2009 Canada Wide Science Fair in Winnipeg.

    A big thank you to local teachers and parents for your continued support of the fair.
