For elementary school, students in grades 4 to 8 can enter the fair. No student may enter the WRSTEF Regional Fair without permission from a teacher advisor. If a school holds a formal Science Fair, only students who received a Gold, Silver or Bronze certificate at the school level of competition should enter the Regional level of competition. For home schooled students, your project must first be approved by our chief judge. You can email them at wrstef@gmail.com .
How do I request for space? Am I obligated to pay for all these spots?
No, you're are not obligated to pay for reserved spots, this is only an estimate. We understand that numbers may change. To register for space online, go to www.wrstef.ca -> Registration and follow the link to the space application. This will guarantee a number of spots for your school. You are not committed to this number but it will help us to determine rooms, medals, judges required.
