    Itinerary

Please note the changes from previous science fairs!

Please keep in mind that while you are at the fair, you are representing your school, your family and, of course, yourself. All appropriate rules and expectations that would apply at your school or on a field trip apply here as well. Your full cooperation is expected at all times.

Here are some suggestions about what to bring to the fair.

    - The project itself, some tape, scissors, glue, etc, for repairs.
    - A CSA approved extension cord, if this applies to you.
    - There will be vending machines at the CAW centre, but the WRSTEF is not responsible for any monies lost in the event of a malfunction.
    - You may have to wait for judges so bring something quiet to entertain yourself.

    Attention chaperones and visitors!
    - Chaperones and visitors are not allowed in exhibit area during judging. Only fair officials are allowed in the judging areas while students are away from their projects.

Saturday March 27th, 2010 - Setup, Safety Checks, and Judging

8:30 - 10:00 AM Please drop off students and projects at the North Entrance of the CAW Student centre via the Assumption Church parking lot.  Assistance will be available to bring projects in.
Proceed to free parking in Lots A, B, and C under the Ambassador Bridge.  Safety checks must be completed prior to leaving or project cannot be judged. After your project has been approved (with a green sticker), proceed to the Cafeteria to pick up welcome package.
10:00 - 11:30 AM Students will be involved in age appropriate activities while judges review the projects without students present.
11:00 - 12:00 PM Lunch will be provided in the Cafeteria.
12:00 - 2:00 PM Judging - It is essential that students remain at their exhibits during the entire judging session. If your project is selected for the final round of judging (you'll get an orange ticket), please remain with your project until 2:30 PM.
2.30 PM Students may go home as judging will be completed.

    Sunday March 28th, 2010 - Award Ceremonies
(There are two ceremonies, as we have so many participants!)

Free parking available in lots A, B, C under the Ambassador Bridge.
12:00 - 4:30 PM Public viewing of Projects for Grades 7 - 12 in the CAW Student Centre commons
1:00 - 2:30 PM Grades 3 - 6 Award Ceremony in the Ambassador Auditorium, CAW Student Centre
3:00 - 4:30 PM Grades 7 - 12 Award Ceremony in the Ambassador Auditorium, CAW Student Centre
