Project Guidelines

The most important document for you to bear in mind are the Project guide and the Safety checklist. These two documents are specific for our local fair.

Youth Science Canada (YSC) is a non-profit organization which together with the host committee organizes the Canada Wide Science Fair each year. The WRSTEF follows the policies put in place by YSC.

For very important information regarding the use of humans or animals, please read the policies set out by YSC and visit the Ethics and Safety page before filling out your Safety checklist. There are changes for 2011 (See ingestion) that may even influence your choice of a research topic! Please contact us at wrstef@gmail.com if your project involves human participants or animals.

The Science Success! series are student workbooks and teacher guides to science fairs made available with special permission from the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair. These booklets may be freely distributed as long as there is no cost to the student. Réussir en sciences! is the Francophone analogue.
